Edit Existing Data Manager Settings

NOTE: The Data Manager menu is only available in Advanced Mode. If you have not enabled Advanced Mode, this command will not be visible.

To edit a Data Manager:

  1. Select Data Managers > Edit Existing Data Manager Settings.
  2. Browse to the existing Data Manager file and click Open.
  3. Edit the settings as described in Creating a Data Manager and click OK.
  4. NOTE: The spreadsheet will not open automatically after you click OK. You will need to open it using Windows Explorer

  5. When the changes have been made to the spreadsheet, you will need to synchronise it with the maps.

NOTE: A Data Manager’s settings are stored in a hidden worksheet called Settings. It is possible to edit these directly but you are recommended to use Process Navigator’s interface, as described above, for this purpose. If the Settings sheet is corrupted or deleted future synchronisations will fail.

Do not delete columns or insert rows on the Data Manager sheets as this may affect the synchronise operation. In particular, the first four columns are fixed and row 1 must always contain the headings.
