Data Manager does not work or files revert back

When you have used Data Manager to change Property values, you may find that it has not made some changes.

After running a Data Manager, it is recommended that a selection of the files are checked to ensure changes have been made.

There are some reasons why changes may not have been made:

• It is not currently possible to blank a property value that already has a value. This causes the whole line to be ignored, so any other changes for that item will not happen.

The workaround is to use Edit, Replace Data.

1. Load the maps to be changed.
2. If you want to remove a specific value, then put that in the Find What box and then nothing in the Replace by box.
3. If you want to blank all values for the given property (in all the maps loaded) then put nothing in the Find What box and nothing in the Replace by box.
4. You will get a message and you can choose to continue.
• It is not currently possible to change the name of the Node, an Activity or a Deliverable.

The name of the item is used as the unique identity for making the changes.
