Approval Email received but Map Not in the List of Approvals

Symptom

An Approval Email has been received, but the map does not appear in the List of Approvals.

The Map is locked in Sandpit.

Cause

It is likely that the map does not have a Node name.

It is surprisingly easy to forget to put in the Node name. All your effort goes into making a meaningful filename that you forget about the Node name and when there is a logo, its lack is not obvious.

A map without a Node name can be published and an Approval email generated. However the email uses the Node name in its list, so there will be one which has a blank in the first column.

The Approval List uses the Node name and if the Node name is blank, the map will not be listed.

Solution

1. In the Sandpit, unlock the Map (see Unlock Selected Maps Pending Approval).
2. Ensure that it has a Node name.
3. Perform the Sandpit Publish.
