End-to-End Diagrams (e2ed) Tab

Process Navigator Options: End-to-End Diagrams tab
  • Ungroup Node on Drop
A Visio shape can be a single object or a composite (a group). When End-to-End diagrams (e2ed) are generated, by default the whole page image is turned into a single group and then instanced on the e2ed. Enabling this option ungroups the page image so you can re-position shapes within an individual page, rather than just whole pages.
  • Place Process Islands and Process Chains on Separate Pages
By default, Process Navigator presents an end-to-end diagram on the optimum number of pages for clarity and to avoid connecting lines crossing over each other. The following parts or types of end-to-end diagrams are shown on separate pages:
    • Process Islands: isolated Nodes with no Input or Output processes.
    • Process Chains: discrete chains of Nodes with only one link between each Node - a set of linearly joined processes with just one input and one output.
    • Complex Flows: not a process island or chain, children are not included which enables the layout algorithms to work much more effectively.

If you prefer to see end-to-end diagrams presented on a single page, clear the option.
